I imagine something like this could be used to offset the overwhelming darkness of the rest of the film.
Yeah, this way of thinking is fine as long as he picks his moments. I don't know about anyone else, but I still have a bad memory of C3-PO's terribly timed "comic-relief" in AOTC's arena battle.

Also, there's a shitload more of them, and with a lot more firepower. I can see Yoda turning on the act - there are other ways besides fighting.
the idea that MF is a house full of Lucas apologists is kinda funny, actually.

c'mon you guys. it's coming from CHITWOOD. who read it on the net somewhere.
if this thing EVER existed, it's a gag for the animators to blow off steam. hell, some of those gags are on the Episode I and II dvd's.
A character in the film to sell action figures. Why have Dooku killed in the first 10 minutes! It would be so much better if his character, whom the audience is already familiar with, was further developed and utilized than a fucking robot that yields lightsabers with his feet.

SI wrote:As far as the farting bit goes, yeah, me too. Like Fats said that's more of an embellishment to the original story. Yoda somehow fooling the Clones - to avoid conflict - does happen though.
