Wow, the Jabba scene is much better. Jabba now has an angry look on his face when he is stepped on instead of that girly frown he had in the SE. The Greedo scene is better too, but I still can't get over that he misses at point blank range. And this guy is a bounty hunter? ;)

And then what happened? They left.

The only thing that really bothers me with the Han/Greedo scen *if we must have it* is that the editing used between the original footage and the new mish-mash shot is really bad. Theres too much dead space between the last line of dialogue and the shot. IF the shot happend so fast that it was almost on top of Han's last line it might make some kind of sense, like Greedo was really on the money and Han had just that much time to react. But there is likie a week and a half of dead space in there and it takes what might have been a palatable change and makes it stand out too much.

As far as the Greedo missing thing, isn't his backstory that he's like one of the worst bounty hunters from a planet full of bounty hunters? I guess the question should be, "If he's such a bad shot, how did he survive this long?"

The videos suck but I'm happy someone is hosting them! Thanks Klownicle!

Does this mean A.New.Hope.Divx.Rar.Tar.Dvp.PROPER.INTERNAL.avi is on it's way?

Also I think Han's line of "YES, I'll bet you have" has been instated.

At the very least, if Greedo shooting first is the way the film has to be, then I'd prefer it this way than the way the special editions had it. This was is much cleaner and the edit is not obvious had you not known there was ever a time when Greedo didn't shoot at all. The SE edit was just horrible and made me cringe. This is a much smoother transition.

And Jabba looks much better, especially the walking on the tail edit.

Thanks for supplying the footage. Much appreciated. :)

I couldn't put my finger on it. Not only have they enhanced the saber effects to the duel, they changed the sound mix and sped up the footage a few frames per second. Oh my. This is outstanding. :heavymetal:

Wow. What more can be said? Klownicle is perhaps the raddest guy in the universe right now. Is it safe to say my pants are extremely tight right now from over-excitement? That Greedo scene and that new CGI Jabba is far superior to what was seen in the Special Edition.

I'm not one to make requests because I'm sure it's a hassle for you, Klownicle, but if you're doing clips from the other movies, too, then will you do one of the Rancor scene from Return of the Jedi, because I'm having a hard time imagining it improved. The pics I've seen on the 'net from those scenes just don't seem any better than they were.

I'd say: Make a believer out of me. But, I hate believing. I'd rather know. And I don't want to seem pushy, either. So, if you have time... :)

It's just that there's no movement and most of the pictures are so dark.

I can see there is a difference. I just can't see that it is better. Until I see the Rancor actually in motion. Get me?

What do you mean? Changed it how? More clear? You think JEJ re-recorded his lines?

Personally, I always thought that Vader's voice sounded more pissed off or mad in ANH compared to the other movies.

I believe you are right Tony Montana. They did seem to lower vaders pitch slightly. I LOVE the new saber sounds , much more consistent with the rest of the films. And speeding the frame rate slightly, gives the duel the much greater epic feel it intended. The pauses between strikes seem smoothed out . Love it, love it. It FINALLY looks like the two baddest characters in the universe going at it.......again. :heavymetal:

Please post the verbal confrontation between Vader and Leia on the Tantive IV: "Don't act so surprised your highness..." I'd like to hear if they've fixed Vader's voice. It sounds like they've finally corrected Vader's voice during the duel with Ben to match the way it sounded in TESB and ROTJ. He always sounded like he was talking out of a Maxwell House coffee can before.
