There are still a few space battle shots in A New Hope that need the once over again. They don't match any of the shots in the other films at all.

Other then that, I think A New Hope seems pretty finished to me.

I like the deleted scenes on Tatooine and the space battle/Toshi (sp) Station added back in.

When I think about the Greedo shooting first thing, I get the sense that it DOES actually help the charecter of Han in context of the story. There had to have been 15 or 20 other pilots with fast ships in that cantina, so why choose Han? If Han kills Greedo in cold blood, that makes him a charecter with no redeeming values, and I don't think that's the kind of guy Ob-Wan wanted to hook up with, especially if him and Luke ae on the run from the Empire. Han's a smuggler, not a murder. And he's not really a pirate either. I think that term gets associated with him because of comments other charecters make about him and because it's an easier generalzation than trying to imply what it means to be a smuggler. Pirates dont get hired to do jobs, they dont take fees or charters, they don't work for anyone. Pirates murder and plunder their way around, and this is not Han. Han hides things in his ship and takes them across restricted areas. I'd say his worst qualities are the fact that he's arrogant and generally doesnt think before he acts, but he's no murder. Greedo shooting means that he doesnt cross that line.

And it makes Greedo look like less of a pussy, though no less a cross eyed Dug. For christ sake, he was TWO FEET AWAY from him!!!

Thing is....Han shooting DOESN'T make him look like a cold-blooded killer. Greedo was going to blast him, why wait until he pulls the trigger? It was self defense!

There are some things I think could still be done to the OT. For instance, the saber ordeal which hasn't been entirely fixed. I also hear there's one matte box problem in ANH so they could take care of that. I also get really annoyed by Boba Fett's flipped image in ROTJ when his antenna is on the wrong side. That'd be great if they could go back and flip that so it's right. It just looks really awkward. I like the idea of fixing the speeder bike chase as well.

As for new things, I'd like to see some deleted scenes edited back into the films (that is if they are good). I wouldn't mind if they added more ships in the backgrounds of battles like that of Hoth and Endor to make them a tad more epic, but it isn't necessary.

By the way, what is HD?

Maybe you're right about the Han thing, maybe all the people are right, but it doesnt bother me in the end. I still think his attitude in the scene makes him every bit the badass he ever was whether Greedo shoots first or not.
