I got a more detailed description from an advertising exec in New York whom my uncle works with in TO.
From what I heard, the Obi-wan speech is just clips from ANH.
"The Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic, before the dark times...before the Empire"
"A Young jedi named Darth Vader helped the Empire hunt down and destroy the jedi knights.....Vader was seduced by the dark side of the force"
I was told there's space battle footage, action in the falling ship, kashyyyk footage, Naboo queen, Opera footage...but as posted, most of the shots are a second.
That's all I got.

-On one viewing, how do you rate this trailer to the other prequel ones?
And....
So the only dialogue in the piece (other than Guinness voiceover) is the Emperor and Vader?

Do you imagine this will be the only trailer this season?
I mean, did it come across as substantial enough to hold us off until March?

I actually watched the entire TPM bonus disc this morning and those trailers are outstanding.![]()
Hopefully, this one will be just as good.
Artmaul wrote:I watched TPM this morning, keeping all the new spoilers in mind, and the movie is much more intriguing. I still can't get past about half of Jake LLoyd's performance, or Ric Olie (he's really bad), but I still loved the movie even more now.

"Brave of you boy-- but I would have thought you'd have learned your lesson..."
"I am a slow learner!"
The attitude was perfect.
Can't wait to see Ani dust this pretentious old fool!

That little droid did it!
Shields at maximum!
The whole planet is one big city!
You catch on pretty quick!
There it is. Tatooine!
Look! And there's Chancellor Valorum's shuttle!
Artmaul wrote:Lucas' dialogue isn't necessarily bad -- but Ric Olie's delivery is like hearing cats fuck across a chalkboard.
