A New Threat (Star Wars Boba Fett Series #5) wrote:
From the Publisher
On his first big assignment for Jabba the Hutt, Boba must confront a new galactic villain -- a sinister force who will play a significant role in the upcoming film StarWars: Episode III!

StarWars.com wrote:Young Boba Fett's next target is Wat Tambor, Foreman of the Techno Union, on the planet Xagobah. There, Fett discoveres a powerful new threat to the Republic.

So it can not be anyone else, I think.

As I said in the other thread, the artist Tom Hodges got some sort of gig with Lucasfilm or something and says he saw Grievious and his recent renderings are the most accurate.

Pudu says Hodge's renderings are very accurate.

I hope that's Grievous- I definately like that apperance more than any of the other artist renderings out there already.

Grievous is the pre-cursor to Vader in my book with his pseudo-skull face plate. Goth Vader, yes!

The Young Boba Fett 5 book matches to me exactly what Hodges is saying and has drawn and what Pudu has told me.

Hell Grievous even matches up a bit with the JR/Otis Frampton painting (which Hodges has said is "close")

haha on you LFL!

He looks, more or less, like the Geonosians and the rest of the battle droids. Makes sense.

I really don't think we need Pudu for any more clarification. Everything seems to point in the direction of this being the General. Even the author notes in the book confirm Boba meets up with a new bad guy who is also in EPIII.

This will be a day long remembered, first we get a LFL Grievous book cover, then Pudu comes out of retirement and posts his Grievous.

The general seems to have a cold, plain look about him in the face and armor.

Perfect for his character, IMO. Unfeeling, chilling bad ass Jedi killah! ;)

Yes, good catch Kyyle.

There was also a comparison pic to 8D8, the torture droid in Jabba's Palace.

Nice catch, the head of each droid does have some similarities - noticeably the narrow elongated head and sunken eye sockets.
