Heh heh, I bet Plagueis got killed by a Jedi and Palpatine will present it as a sob story. Poor little innocent Plagueis. ;)

He's got to paint the Sith as misunderstood victims, wiped out by the Jedi who were afraid of their mastery of the force.

Thanks, T. ;)

Some good shit here to digest! ROTS is really going to be the culmination of it all. Regardless of the duels, battles, and visual candy, the story seems to be the prime focus of this episode.

Lucas could have probably just made this thing as a play on a stage and it would still be great because of all the drama and importance of the story to the saga.

From the way I understand it, Palpatine requests him, Anakin is assigned, and Obi-Wan tells Anakin to spy on Palps.

"it has nothing to do with the Jedi"

Wasn't expecting that! Do we perhaps get the actually Sith history? The Sith were wiped out by themselves? Not all Sith are bad? Plagueis the wise worked out how to avert death and the evil Sith killed him? More questions. Thanks for the info Tern.

Out of interest Tern, are you now in a position with your latest insider to blow the whole movie apart? Or have you just got a few more pieces to help fill in the puzzle?

Ah, so it is as we conjectured - Obi-Wan asks Anakin to spy on Palpatine. I'd just about forgotten that one.

Tern - I don't think anyone has asked this yet; but, is this source of information taping into the same stuff DP was referring to in getting a "DP"esque site setup for January?

In other words - is your information just script related or script and promo images and such.

Postby Master Obi-Wan » December 23rd 2004 2:03 pm

I think Darth Plageuis was the master of Palpatine (Sidious) ;

This infamous Dark Lord of the Sith supposedly gained such an insight into The Force that he was actually able to influence the midichlorians to create life. Anakin becomes interested in this story after his haunting dreams of Padme’s death – perhaps this time he could prevent her death, unlike his mother’s.

Anakin asks what happened to Plagueis in the story. Palpatine says that he was murdered by his apprentice as soon as he discovered the same power.

My gues is that palpatine killed plagueis when he discovered the same power.

I really hope that somebody comes out and dispels speculation that Anakin was created by the Sith (DS, DP, whomever) stuff. There probably all over that at the JC. PLEASE GOD MAKE IT STOP.

Fat chance. There seems to be a new bunch of idiots over there obsessed with the 'Palpatine is a clone' shit that has been laughed out of town since TPM.
