It certainly looks like the dark, scary fairytale forest down there on Kashyyk, huh?

I guess we can take it that the Wookiee's are Republic-affiliated from the look of that guy tearing the droid to bits?

Makes me think of Dagobah more than Endor.

I was just thinking it looked like a hybrid of Endor and Dagobah.

For what its worth....thats not how Kashyyyk was described to me for Ep 3.

Kashyyyk isn't Endorbah.

Kashyyyk has some very advanced "cities" and "spaceports" which are accessible via "elevators"

I'll just say, the guys doing the game did not use Episode III concept art to generate their ideas and images for Republic Commando.

Apparently Kashyyyk is REALLY technologically advanced and quite a popular space port.

Kashyyyk had to be different than previous Star Wars planets or it was going to be cut from the film.

Previous concept ideas for Kashyyyk are what became Endor.

George didn't want Endor 2.

ok let's move back onto the topic of Kashyyyk. This is probably where the rumoured underwater/naval battle will take place. Pabs all but confirmed there will be something along those lines in EPIII.

Going back....I was told by an 'insider' that there will be some type of Imperial Submarine in EpIII (well, at least one was designed).

Why would there be a naval battle on Kashyyyk? Wouldn't it make more sense to have a battle in those enormous trees than in the water? Unless it's a combination of the two?

Why waste what could be a spectacular battle in the trees of Kashyyyk when they could just do the naval battle on another planet?
