Then Bail making out with one of the senatorial chicks in a pod, happens to hear Yoda crying out and zooms by to catch him in mid air?

Yea, it sounds good but brief... sounds about as long as the Yoda/Dooku duel.

I take it the picture with Yoda on his hands and knees in a corridor is shortly after this battle outside the Senate chamber??

I Presume The Pic with Yoda Is he is knocked down, Sid runs Yoda Chases/Looks (OT) Yoda Follows And Towards Pod They Reach

1. Lightsaber Duel
2. Yoda gets somewhat defeated, Sidious escapes somewhere (this is the picture you have all seen)
3. Yoda head down a hall and Sidious surprises him.
4. Pod sequence / Force pissing contest

From HLS

If I remember correctly, Sidious force throws Yoda around the Chancellor Pod Holding Room resulting in him smacking against the wall.

Sidious throwing senate pods around should be fun.

Yoda isn't believed dead after the fall. That's why Sidious calls the Stormtroopers to locate him in the building before he escapes.

From Gabe

Sidious isn't the only one throwing around pods, Yoda gives his all to take Palpy out

I just wish people would stop misusing the word "veracity" (see http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=veracity). Maybe "ferocity" would have been a better choice. Unless the fight really happens with "speed and truth". I wouldn't say anything, but it seems like I've seen this in a handful of spoiler reports now.

I am a bit disappointed in this for 2 reasons.

1- it seems like they are going to be floating around on pods, just like the final duel where ani and ob are floating around on discs, any one else see this as a bit of a distraction or is it my nitpicky mind.

2- So sidious dosn't seem to kick yodas ass as I had been hoping for, then dosn't think he is dead. well what happens when his stormtroopers don't find him. " ahwell forget it, it's alright if one jedi survives"?
once again too nitpicky?

oh and thanks TERN keep'em comeing

It sounds like an anime fight - which, if choreographed well, could be no bad thing. In a way, I do hope they slow Yoda down a little. I have to admit to loving the Yoda fight when I first saw it in AotC but I'd love to see him controlled.

Cool, yeah. If they get the sense of weight right on these pods, it's going to look and feel pretty awesome.

Does Yoda know that Sidious has already fought and defeated Mace et al? Do we get to see/hear of his fury at this? Hell, is Yoda allowed to get angry?

Maybe during the fall that he takes Yoda will pull the grappling gun off his utility belt & swing to safety.

Still it would be pretty nice to see both duels take place on uneven ground where things are constantly moving. Seems like it would heighten the tension in the scene even more.

Sounds like we're going to see Sidious's force lightning used on a scale not seen before.

I wonder if they're jumping from pod to pod already before before the jump that Sidious baits Yoda into.

FR is correct, as usual. The written description is always going to sound a little short. That room has a nice epic scale to it.

And there's a LOT of them.

1024 of them, according to the OS EU section, but that might just be a John Knoll computer joke.

Why is this number a joke? 1024 seem perfectly good to me.

(PS. For those wondering, each Senator represent a section of space, not just an individual system, so in a galaxy of millions of systems, there isn´t just 1024 members of the Galactic Republic ;) .)

I saw this bumper sticker:

FOR SALE 2 French Rifles, one dropped once, one never used. ALMOST MINT CONDITION NEVER FIRED

Back on topic:

Does that mean palps is going to be CGI? Jumping on to pods over and over might not look that cool.

I vote for muppets. A giant Ian McDiarmid muppet duking it out with a CGI Yoda. Hey, it have to look better than Sidious does cheesing with Anakin in that publicity shot.

It could work if his robes are used to abstract his movement, a la Darth Maul's speeder jump off during TPM's Maul/Qui Gon duel in the dunes, so that you're basically dealing with the idea of Sidious-as-gymnast rather than having to actually watch, in detail, an old human (or humanoid) acting like a gerbil on speed head on. BearaceDougie hit the nail on the head with this comment:

With A Good Crew Behind Cam Work And A Good Editing Job... This Fight Will Be Awwesome!

With the right lighting (not to mention the other visual activity that will be going on during the scene, i.e. the pods floating around) it could really be something that works not only as an action set piece, but also as a work of avant garde filmmaking.

"You'd imagine that my character has been rather deskbound in the past but this time he will get to take part in the action. I can't give the story away as George Lucas would kill me but I have been engaged in far more physical activities than any of the other films.

"I have found myself sliding down chutes at speed and landing on heaps of rubber, it's been a completely new experience for me. I haven't had to go down the gym to get fit for the scenes but I did need a few rehearsals to get up to speed." Ian McD

Maybe he not referring just to the scenes on the TF starship?

Its like those dodgy movies... the bad guy has the good guy down to his last breath... then a large talk or act occurs in which he stops his asskickery and then fucks up...

ahah like Austin Powers... sticks him in the tank, and then closes the doors... and the sons like, lets grab the guns... shoot them, no talking... their dead... hahaha

it's already been stated that palpidious is a great warrior by nick gillard. one of the best saber fighters and master of many other forms. he is good at letting you believe you are winning and then POUNCING on your ass killing you. "do not underestimate his powers"

Yes, Nick G. does say that he is a master of all weapons & styles.

He draws you in, but he also stated that you will never get the better of him.

So playing hurt & the feebile old man thing are just part of his subtle attack. Deception is one of major Sith traits.
