If anyone remembers the billboard banners for AOTC they pretty much rocked.

yeah that's the one I like that pic. Update it with whatever EPIII you like, but i guess it's all up to DP what gets posted.

like i said before, i think your work is good, but those banners clash with the current color scheme of the board and the main site. i would suggest making something that matches the same color scheme.

As you can see I'm finally working on install banners and themes. Eventually a user can choose their own theme.

The Mod Squad theme is only temporary, though one can choose that theme in the future if desired. It was merely a test theme to see if the JC banner.jpg, background.jpg, side.jpg, and curve.gif can work well with PHPBB. I got it from a certain ex-JC mod and migrated it over to MF. (It was a bitch)

Also as stated previously, I would like a to implement a random typescript for a new banner to be shown upon each refresh. That way everyone's banners can be seen.

yeah that sounds great because we have a few good ones here.

Can I just say something about using the JC banner style (ie side and curve)? It looks good when used on TFN's main page because of the transition from it to the menu down the side, but it just doesn't really work greatly otherwise. It makes things look lopsided.

Go into the JC's Literature forum, and pull the javascript that's embedded directly into the page HTML. I'll admit it was a quick and dirty bit of coding, but it did what I wanted it to, and will more than suit your needs.
