Episode III Video Game Stuff

Postby boltzman » February 17th 2005 11:47 pm

I thought I'd point out that at some point LucasArts updated their picture section for the Episode III game coming out soon. In the concept art section, there's a great picture of clonetroopers landing in one of the Utapau sinkholes....I hope that shows up at some point during the real movie....So anyways, enjoy....

B.T.W.: I viewed the trailer again, and couldn't help but wonder if a lot of those shots will make it to the final movie....here's hoping..... :)

Actually, the credit for that picture goes to Big Lou...i just cut it down in size for my avatar. He de-waterstamped the image and there's a few there now that don't have a waterstamp on the "Assloads of Water-Images" Thread....

Yeah, but the question is, "How much do you really want to know about the movie before it comes out?"

it's been confirmed that anakin does not use force lightening, so probably not as many as you'd think

but i think the dueling is the best i've seen in any SW game thus far

I hope raven makes another Jedi Knight game...that would be sweet

Yeah, absolutely.....there's definitely a need for another Jedi Knight game.....maybe with the Doom III/FarCry engine???

yeah i see them using the doom 3 engine since they're using it to make quake 4 (they've always dealt with id tech)

probably won't be a while until we hear about it...unless the development is under wraps which has always been the case for these guys

Isnt this trailer weeks old?

I think i already read somewhere that some of the scenes are taken straight form the movie while others (force lighting) are only in the game...

Persoanlly, i dont think it looks very good. I wish LA would use a more cutting edge engine. Most SW games never touch the cutting edge barrier...

I think a new JK game with the D3 or even Unreal 3 engine would be amazing. I dont think its ever gonna happen cause LA just dont care about being cutting edge...but u never know.

To be fair, Mercenaries is pretty close to the edge. I'd like to see a GTA: Star WARS! rather than GTA: WAR!

The game is being developed by The Collective, who are pretty talented when it comes to beat-em-ups.

Found a Mod

Postby boltzman » February 23rd 2005 12:01 pm

I found a mod that shows what the Doom III/ Half-Life/ FarCry engines are capable of....The models that these people have done are unbelievable.....it would be amazing to see the next JK game rendered like this.....
