This is my favourite spoiler report in ages. It's really evocative of the OT with Sidious' "Good....good" line. And watching Obi Wan collapsing could well be one of the most tearjerking scenes EVER.
Will we be seeing the Jedi Holocron in either the new Clone Wars cartoons or Episode III?
Nope.
Are there any Sith Books, Holocrons, Parchments, or Artifacts in EP3?
No.
(don't know if 'Sith' is EU?)

I keep thinking that....but never in a million years would those stuck up bastards at the Academy vote for anything related to Lucas....

Add to the fact that whenever he comes up with a new character, he checks that their name isn´t in any established source, so he avoids continuity-errors. Generally, official continuity is divided into G-canon and C-canon. G is the movies and anything additional said by Lucas. C is everything else that doesn´t conflict with the movies or other EU sources. S is for old sources that can become C if they´re referenced more than once over the years. N is the non-canon stuff (things that now contradict official continuity).
You learn something every day.

Or, Lucas steals stuff from the EU and makes it Canon. Timothy Zahn selected Coruscant from a list of accepted names for the Imperial/New Repulic central system. Lucas, when doing the prequels, took Coruscant and made the "c" silent to make it more his. His original name for the system was something different.
