The difference between the two is that Phil Wise and his pals, see TFN more as a business venture than a fan site. When fan sites become "businesses" they yearn to please everyone and thus quality control becomes nil. Fan sites don't give a damn, they just post the stuff.

Generally nobody gives a shit about your connections to other sites until you want to discuss them. Nobody gives a shit that you did this or that at TFN, nobody cares that you're banned for 48hrs for posting "bling bling Yoda farts lollerz fark!!!11!!"....

I used to moderate those boards, I've been banned a dozen times since and I'm about to get off a 4 month perm ban. And guess what? Nobody gives a shit.

So if you want some advice, I suggest you drop your "too good for TFn kiddies" attitude and start a new e-life here. That way we can't peg you for your douche-laden posts there and prematurely ban you.
