It's wierd to see MF's Trailer Reports come alive like that. Aayla's cleavage and Grievous' (who is fucking huge it appears) backside.

I had seen the Peru version countless times, but seeing the new one really gave me a better idea of how kickass this trailer really is. I'm pretty much speechless at this point.

The small bit of the duel starting at 1:33 is like it is right out of ESB.

That was amazing. Best part, byfar, is when Palpatine lunges at the Jedi, and the shreik! I was under the impression that he would be all "Emperor-ish" when he fought Mace, but I guess not. Awesome job to everyone, and I can't wait for the hi-res. This is going to kick extreme ass. :)

McDiarmid will own this one with Hayden...

I've got a HP Media center, where i can record live tv, so i'll be recording the OC tomorrow and when its done, fast forward to the trailer.

the bad part is there is no internet connection on there yet, otherwise i'd be glad to make a nice clear copy to put up.

but as for the one i just watched...wow. i don't want to go overboard with hyperbole here, but just...wow.

Fantastic. Everything after the stand-around-talking-council-bits could have come straight from the OT. The sound alone, with the blasters and lightsabers, is just stunning. Great stuff.

I didn't have a problem with the Geonosis "handheld" camera, but a buddy of mine did. I heard rumors there is bullet time in ROTS. Is this true? :what:

i think if there was going to be bullet time in a SW movie, it would have been in AOTC, when at least using BT was still somewhat possibly a good idea.

fact is its now been done in over 100 films (pretty sure that number is accurate), it doesn't need to take its place in the SW universe.

I CANNOT WAIT to see the showdown with Mace and co and Sidious.
'Are you threatening me Master Jedi?'.
The scene with Sidious laughing at Yoda was also fantastic!
AWESOME! SIMPLE AWESOME!
One scene that I found really thought provoking was Mace Windu and Obiwan talking....
'I do not trust him'.

it's strange mace changes from "remember, he's the only one who can bring the force back into balance" to "i don't trust him" i truly believe anakin gets personal satisfaction from seeing mace die. i too will get that satisfaction cause i dislike sam jackson and how he's done mace.

Awesome work guys, thanks to everyone involved in getting this online. There's sections I can't wait to see on crystal clear QT tomorrow, especially that short scene of the duel in the corridor-that shit's pure ESB.

For UK residents, check with your local Odeon cinema, the one in Glasgow is running a free screening of the trailer tonight at Midnight so there's a chance that some of the others will be too.

411, I think ROTS will be all over ESB, even though AOTC was supposed to be closer to ESB, and TPM will be somewhere in there along with ROTJ, ANH, ABC 123 and the OC. Man, I gotta go drain my PP.

This is... awesome. I love Palps telling Anakin 'Learn to know the Dark Side of the Force and you will become more powerful than any Jedi!' It's all in the delivery, Ian McDiarmed rules this film.

Can't wait to see the clean version. Especially the bit with Anakin leading the clones into the Temple.

Anyways Palps will make this movie.

I haven't been able to watch the entire trailer yet, it keeps jamming and shutting down. No big deal, I can wait til tonight.

However, I have noticed some things in the few shots I was able to view, including a shot in which I noticed a wall of long narrow lights, very similar to the Death Star hallways! It's little details like that that make me all giddy inside!

:?

I'm still wondering that the trailer de facto gives away the surprise that Palpatine = Sidious, or doesn't it?

The Count seems to be a little understated, only one short swordfighting scene as I could figure out - after all this is CHRISTOPHER LEE!
Great trailer, great movie. This one really feels like Star Wars. After hearing the :chewbacca: shriek I remebered what I missed in the first two PT movies. Good to have him back.
And the sounds of the proto-Tie-Fighters...
I MUST see this movie in english, many of the german synchronization voices are weak. Especially McDiarmid really shines on this one!

The Trailer was awesome, even in such poor quality. However any attempt to keep the fact that palpatine is sidious secret from the casual viewer has now gone out the window.

I don't think Lucas cares about revealing plot points before the film any more. I don't even think he cares what people think of this film anymore. He just wants to make the film for himself... and not worry about people having plot points spoilt for them or anything like that. At least, that's the impression I get.

....

I am speechless.. well not really, there's just too damn much speech to put down.

That was absolutly brilliant, I can't wait for the hi-res just so I can get a good look at Grevious and some of the other shots.

And the line "You were the Chosen One" is just so full of emotion, sent a chill down my spine.

I sure as hell had high expectations for this movie, those expectations have just grown.

Are you guys refering to the scene during the hearbeat/collage in the middle of the trailer? The scene is very dark so it's hard to tell, but actually I think that is Bail yelling run to Yoda. Every sound effect and voice during this sequence has had reverb added as well as a few other ethereal like processing making the whole sequence ghost like and down right creepy (and I'm lovin every second of it).

Can't count how many times I rewatched it last night... Now for the real deal so I can actually clearly see Grievous!
