How can I gain access to alt.binaries.starwars?

I have heard a lot of good things about the Star Wars newsgroups but I have no idea how to connect to it. Can anyone give me a hand?

You need a newsreader (do not use Outlook Express, it sucks for that). Look around for X-News, in my opinion it is the best newsreader out there and it's free. Then you will need to find out the address for your ISP's newsgroup service (it will look something like mf-news.mf.com). When you set X-News up, it will download the adresses for all newsgroups. Then just do a quick search for starwars and viola.

A good resource for finding out exactly what is on specific newsgroups is Newzbin.com

I use Xnews and Grabit occasionally but be warned Newsgroups really do have a steep learning curve for people used to say, Kazaa.
