Shit, that's beautiful. Very OT, I agree. It reminded me of Cloud City for some reason.

Cool

What's with the trail of traffic in the top middle of the frame, it's not a constant stream of speeders.

And no railings?
What if 3P0 falls?

Yeah, no railings but I would think there is some sort of force field around it. Otherwise rain would destroy those chairs in no time.

Lovely image. It really made me want to live there.

Dogg.

Beautiful image, thankyou 'rific.

I do remember Lucas saying something about there being a forcefield around the verandah in one of the webdocs.

Reminds me why I love that planet. Screw Bladerunner´s LA and Fifth Element´s NY, Coruscant gets four movies to expand upon. :heavymetal:

Incredible image, thank you so much.
I wonder just how long does it takes ILM to create a shot like that?

I reckognize some buildings that are taken from previous episodes, and the air traffic is probably recycled as hell. With today´s CGI they have it much easier than, say, six or eight years ago (for TPM and ROTJ SE). Air traffic only needs low-resolution models, anyway.

That leaves other buildings and the mattepaintings.

What is Kermit 'sitting' on there DKR?

BD: Two screens are great for just about anything. I usually stream cable on one, with FireFox/MSN on the other. Also great for Media Editing.

I presume you would need a powerful computer to withstand the dual screens?

the computer specs you posted awhile ago, did you get the computer made to handle the dual screens, or any computer of power like that able to handle them?

(heh, make sense?)

Your Graphics Card determines whether or not you should have the ability for dual screens. To enhance the experience though, a good amount of RAM (~2GB) and a 3.0Ghz processor or so wouldn't hurt.

I run a Nvidia Geforce FX6800 with 2 1GB Kingston sticks on two Viewsonic VX900's.

It almost looks like Anakin is looking at the deathstar trench with the big gap centerframe.

I dont get why compared to everything ive seen from ROTS, the last sequel looked liked a fanmade movie..(ok with exceptions of course.:)

I mean the effects look not only better but more 'real'....this image (thanks sr) just proves it..

ILM seem to be on top of their game again, the other two films were good but this stuff is ultra real. Very impressed.
