I just finished downloading 24, and i must say that i am rather unhappy with the quality of the video. For me, atleast, the video is very blury and blown out, anything even remotely white is glaring. I'm hoping that another version comes out which is on par with the quality of the rest.

Oh, and Hi, i'm new here, just found out about this site, you all seem to be wonderful people and I look forward to posting more.

chapter 24

Postby hedistic » March 23rd 2005 4:36 pm

i have chapter 24 and i agree, the quality isn't as good as the first 3. it looks a lot better if you view it at 50% though. hopefully a better one will be made. anyways, i'm currently uploading to yousendit. it should be done in a few minutes.

Ch. 24 might just be the greatest CW chapter yet. At least one of them. Everything from Grievous chasing Palpatine and Shaak-Ti, to Anakin´s quest and his discoveries.

Nice to see the Magnaguards and Wat Tambor in the CW-style.

Uploading yousendit link as we speak. But have patience, these things take time.

24 is pretty good, lots of saber action and quite an amusing end.

There is only one more after this, correct?

I have to say that this season has proved to be quite amazing. The animation and story has improved greatly since last year's seasons

http://www.demonoid.com/torrents seems to have the chapters that are released at the OS in the official QT versions, so 24 should be available there tomorrow night.

I thought the chapter kicked ass though, even if the picture quality wasn't great.

The battle scenes in this chapter were by far the best so far. Mace and the droid fighter...Yoda with some serious Force Action!!!

Man, this is getting good!!!

Loads of chase with Grievous and fighting with MagnaGuards (who get owned), plus trains...

And then Anakin finding some Separatist place and being surrounded by massive creatures at the very end...

Trying to get it up on yousendit, but it's being a piece of shit for some reason.

Kind of....I thought Obiwan and Anakin were looking for Dooku in the outer rim. But so far that appears to be wrong according to the cartoon. I'll reread the book and then I will know.

Once again guys thanks your doing any amazing job.

I think 24 was one of the best so far. But then again im a sucker for Lightsabre battles. Plus the drama was allot higher than the other episodes and the story picked up.

I didnt really like 22 &23. The animation looked a little more rushed and the fighting kinda weak. With the exception of the sweet ARC Commander getting overrun B4 Yoda intervenes. The "Cameera" work and desperation was well done. We need more of that.

Anyone think the magna gaurds stood up against the jedi a little too well. Especially one on one i thought theyd get smoked. After all they dont have jedi blood in thier bodies like Grevious (i dont think)

Is it just me that got a 1970s-ish feel from the animation in Ch 24? The saber fights weren't quite as dynamic (the Asajj fights in the first season come to mind with all of the Samurai Jack like camera moves mixed with motion blurs and sound design).

Wide shots, with Ti and Greivous battling while remaining pretty stationary. It had all the comedic elements that you'd get in a Samurai Jack episode which was great... but the battle sequences felt much more traditional like a Droids episode than I've come to expect from Tartakovsky. Think they're on more of a time crunch now that the eps are longer and they aren't able to spend as much time- or was it purposely done (maybe for nostalgia's sake- as little subtle clues and lines seem to spring occasionally) this way this time around?

Has anyone elese heard the wierd noise (I think Grevious makes it) at the start of 21 when he's running through the rubble of the starship? Is it the same rythmic thumping that comes up at the end of the RotS trailer for no reason?

Grievous has no "jedi blood." He's not Force Sensitive. Your point is conceded, though, and is the reason I was originally against Grievous; a non-Jedi/Sith using a lightsaber and actually being able to hold their own. I've since gotten over it, and this EU stuff about Dooku training him works well enough for me.

This episode was pretty neat. I actually laughed out loud when the dude pushed the elevator button a few extra times. Nice touch of humor there.

I think it's kind of neat that this whole thing was sorta orchestrated by Palps... he WANTS to be kidnapped. But obviously he has to pretend that he doesn't. The whole time I was watching this I was thinking to myself "Palpatine must be thinking 'God Damn Jedi just die already and let me be kidnapped!'" :)
