Can't wait for the music videos :heavymetal:

The official site should soon offer pieces from the OST soon as well (HS only)

I hope there is a song with battle drums during the war scenes. Sorta like the drums in the full trailer.

That DVD sounds awesome. I was thinking about getting the soundtrack before, but after reading that I've decided to definitely go ahead and get it.

Created especially to accompany the CD release, the thrilling 70-minute DVD features 16 brand-new music videos set to selections from all six of John Williams' unforgettable Star Wars film scores and has been designed around a timeline that will take the viewer chronologically through the entire saga.

Trim that sucker down, and you've got the Star Wars Saga "Super-Trailer" that someone was talking about making in another thread!

I agree.

However, it might be a fun challenge for someone to create a "Star Wars Saga" trailer that is 6 minutes or less in length.

Promo pre-releases of scores (as opposed to composers' own promos) are normally stripped down versions with temporary covers. LFL can probably afford full artwork for the promo ;), but as for the contents, I'd expect the usual - a few selected tracks.

What!!!

How can "The Battle of Endor II" not be featured on the DVD.

The track that plays when Luke is beating down Vader is essential.

Is it enough to make a full video though? I mean, the track 'The Emperor' is cool, but I don't think it'd lend itself to a music video format. Which is why I think BoE2 is definitely better, or at least the latter end as it was on the 1983 ROTJ LP, with the choiry bit, then the Rebel fanfare and then the Emp's theme, crescendoing with the Force music.

I remember downloading it from Audiogalaxy about maybe a month previous to the actual release.

Depends on your definition of "locked up and sealed."

If we're lucky, a rip of the bonus DVD will show up along with it.

That's something I could wait until May for, though. I mean, I need SOMETHING to look forward to. Everything is coming out like crazy.
