No offense, but the art has been available at http://shop.starwars.com for quite some time now.

Actually, the one on SW shop is a different version, though I saw both versions in super hi-res on another forum weeks ago. Last I heard, the one above was the first version and not the final. Could be wrong. Doesn't matter to me, though. I'm not gonna get the game. :)

Well here is the cover that is on the shop.starwars.com website

Also I noticed in the one I posted in which Anakin is using the Force Lightning that there is no glove of any sort on his right hand. Also I thought he didnt get a red saber. Guess this is probably bogus then? Fuck if I know. I would just like to think that I contribute to this site besides making fun of the latest superstar. :whatevaho:

also, obi-wan is holding anakin's lightsaber, not his own......

I'm positive this is further proof that Anakin wields a red saber at the end of "The Duel." The teaser already confirms that Obi-Wan gets a hold of Anakin's blue saber.

Anakin doesn't wield a red fucking saber during the duel you douché. He weilds his own saber and it is BLUE.

Hey asshole, look at the Art of ROTS cover. Every Art of SW cover has made it into the final film, including AOTC, with clonetroopers shooting BLUE lasers.

Anakin doesn't magically pull a red saber out of his arse at the end of the duel.
Concept artists regularly take great liberties with the subject matter - there's even a piece of concept art of Obi-Wan on the Boga holding a red saber. They just choose these colours when they paint without checking the bleedin' script, it's concept art after all.
Obi-Wan holding Anakin's saber in that box art is likely just an artist mistake - he just drew all the hilts the same for some reason. A lot of these artists aren't Star Wars geeks...

It's a pity - I would've liked to have seen Obi-Wan opening up on Anakin with both the blue sabers, and Anakin whipping a red saber out of somewhere. Possibly his ass. I'm picturing True Romance here...

Palpatine hides a saber inside his sleeve. It would not be unreasonable for Anakin to do the same with a red saber.

It'd be cool if Anakin used a red saber at some point in the duel. If it does happen, it'd probably be the last portion of the duel.

He's not supposed to be using Force Lighting in the movie either but that made the game (cover) too.

Thanks! It's my FanFiction character, in my likeness, as drawn by comic book artist Brad Green.

The final cover probably has two blue ones.

Check out the wallpaper on the official site.

I found it intresting of notice that on the cover there is a picture of ANAKIN dueling with WINDU. I wonder if that's what we will actually see in Episode III (the film). The trailer that was released a couple of weeks ago did not show any footage of ANAKIN having a lightsaber duel with MACE WINDU

I think this has been said often, but there are many things in the game (e.g. Vader using Force lightning) which are not in the film. They are added for the sake of improved gameplay, fun.

Thanks for the scan Acaciah.

There's no duel or fight or protection.

Anakin just chooses Palpatine over Mace (because of his promise to teach him how to stop Padme from dying) and cuts the other Jedi's hand off.

Thats usually the problem with games based on movies, theres all sorts of stuff in the game that doesnt make sense for the movie....
...but for this game, the more the better... maybe we'll get to fight Yoda at some point.. that would rock! :heavymetal:

Note that the image of Anakin dueling with Mace is in the section of the box art that talks about multiplayer, so I'm thinking the image of them fighting is a multiplayer shot.
