I believe they go on sale 4 weeks prior to the release date. So, in about a couple of weeks they should be on sale. If you are a megamember of Village - I think you cna get them a day or two earlier than the general public.

HEY TERNION

Postby Eternity » March 31st 2005 9:12 pm

Hey TERN,

Where did you want La Prem tickets from?

Because I racked up to Fox Studios at 10 and the guy said that you can't get La Prem tickets as well... I was pissed but hung around making phone calls to other Hoyts places for a while.

Stubbornly/stupidly/cause I have no life, I went to him and said 'is this only for Fox Studios? or is this for every La Prem in Sydney?'

He said they just had a thing that you can buy normal Tickets and if La Prem is offered you can convert over... I asked, but what if there is no La Prem? He goes... well.. then you can't get them ( I thought BS)

He then said, some guy is talking to the manager so you should talk to her as well...

Walked in and saw the guy, apparently he was buying tickets for Ian Thorpe. He said, just this second they're selling La Prem tickets...

I went upstairs and lo and behold they were... I got my bunch and was happy...

Was wondering if you were one of the people that apparently lined up at 9:00am..

Just giving you the heads up since there IS La Prem tickets....

Hmm...I booked normal tickets...at the end of the day, there is not much difference, I think.

True true... You'll be where the humanity is, all the fans and stuff...

But the only reason I wanted La Prem... is that I'd be guaranteed a seat... worth the $25 bucks...

Either way May 18th/19th will be one hell of a night....

True.

I booked over the phone. The guy I spoke to sounded a little clueless...I just hope he booked the right night for me. :(

Haha... yeah... he was a bit funny when I spoke to him...

Can't blame him though, he was only a grunt... It was Hoyts' fault for advertising La Prem and pulling from it then agreeing again...

As long as it's May 19 12:02am session, you'll be OK...

Don't do a stupid like me though... I almost missed AOTC because I thought May 19 12:01am was the day after... :o So this time I'm reminding myself that it's May 18th rather than 19th... hehe

Fuck going to the midnight session.
I'm hooking up with a bunch of friends in the morning for the 9:30am session, then the 3:30pm session.
Then on Friday night, I'm going to the digital screening at fox studios.
Can't wait for this!!

If I see it at midnight, that means I get home around 3.00am, and I won't be able to get to sleep, I'll be too hyped up!!
My friends can't make it for the midnight screening.
We made a pact months ago to all see it together, and to see it twice in one day. :heavymetal:

9:30am Session
Lunch/drinks and discussion.
3:30pm Session
Dinner/drinks and more discussion.

I already got my tickets in a safe place...
