New Footage will be at Wal-Mart on May 5th

Postby ujabronie » March 31st 2005 11:54 am

Hello, I work at Wal-Mart and I just wanted to share with everyone that starting on May 5, all the stores will be playing never before seen movie clip of ROTS. I guess every ten minutes on the hanging tv's in the stores will be playing the clips, we were all told in a meeting the other day. I remember they did the same thing a few years back for AOTC. The video clip they played was a good two mintues of the part where Obi-one and Anakin chasing down the bounty hunter. :chewbacca:

Nope not even a chance, all the programs and ads aired are programed and broadcast throught the Wal-mart tv network out of the home office in Bentonville, Arkansas.

I live in Bentonville, but there is no chance of getting the footage, the homeoffice is locked down tighter than Ft Knox. They have their own police force.

Seriously, I used to have some connections at the home office but I no longer do. Sorry guys!

if you work at wal-mart.... go to electronics and see if the video plays on the display tv's there too. I've noticed that they're tied into some sort of feed in the electronics department at my local store.

hook up one of the display vcrs between the feed line (probably a coax), and then bounce the feed through to the tv from the vcr.

purchase yourself a videocassette, tape it, bring it home, hook up your vcr to your pc tv tuner (or find someone who has one, or buy one) and record the movie to your pc. Then, release the footage en masse to the whores of the internet.

Just wanted to bump this up to remind anyone interested that this Thursday May 5 Wal-Marts will be playing new ROTS footage. Funny thing is with all this movie footage out already, it will probably be something we have all seen already. :D

Rumor has it that theaters all over the country will be showing more than 2 hours of footage later this month. On something bigger than a TV screen.

Well, since the videogame comes out on the 5th as well, it probably will be a clip from there.

i noticed that target had clips from the movie and game playing on all their tv's by the videogame section yesterday, and i caught the end of some footage in wal-mart on their screens around the store, although i didn't see enough to tell if there was anything new or what they were showing. what i caught was basically some audio and video advertising the toys for sale not sure what the content was earlier on in the clip. that didn't really help much, did it...

we don´t have wal mart over here, but I could care less actually. The movei will be out in less than three weeks, I can seriously wait those few days before I see any RotS footage again.
