PSzabo99, as if all of you people are above anyone else, please, this is a fine board, but its the same as any forum on the net, its just that you get to geek out on Star Wars.
As for John William's score, I think I can hang with any of you regarding the man's works. I've got 40 years of listening to his music, to back up any comments I make on the music.
unfortunately I've not posted any so here goes.
John's score sounds solid. Parts are very good to exceptional.
His end titles track is completely inappropriate for the series, it would have worked for Return of the Jedi, but not Revenge of the Sith. Despite that it is a fine piece of music blending several previous pieces. As a stand alone cue its is wonderful, it just doesn't have any business in this film.
Still this score is so much better than Attack of the Clones which was easily the worst Star Wars score( I hesitate to even call it a Star Wars score), and the worst JW score probably since the 80's. I sincerely hope that ROTS is a better film that AOtC to, which really shouldn't be hard. Williams was completely uninspired by it, I am anxious to hear the complete score for this final chapter of this weak trilogy.
and Rob, son I don't need to run to a coffee klatch as you say, don't drink the stuff, never have, thats your portland oregon showing, you on the other hand are just a series of cliche's, overused. Your need to express your phallic abilites would be better used on your michael jackson fantasies. now if you care to rip me for my comments on the score, please feel free. I'd say on first listen to fall around 4th best in the series, behind #1, Star Wars, #2, ESB, & #3, ROTJ.
