I dunno, there was a Dialogue Version of Duel of the Fates on the Phantom Menace Ultimate Edition soundtrack.

Was there? I have it but because it won't play on a computer I don't have it on my mp3 player so I don't remember that.

Are the record company going to do the same thing they did for that and the AotC soundtracks for RotS? It is such a pain in the arse not having them on my player.

I have no issue with my AOTC soundtrack playing in my computer.

Yeah, for TPM they essentially ripped the soundtrack from the DOTF music video and slapped that on, so assuming we're getting a BOTH one (getting a bit late though) it'll probably just be that.

So that's 2 people having problems with security settings?

None of the SW soundtracks ever gave me any problems ripping, and I used iTunes. I have the latest SW Trilogy soundtrack, I have the AotC soundtrack, I have the TPM soundtrack, and I have the Ultimate Edition of TPM on my iPod, no mention of any kind of security settings, and they're all in MP3 format.

There was no protection system. I put it in my computer (and my dad's) and it just played and ripped. I can't explain what happened.

Same here. There doesn't appear to be any protection system on ANY of the soundtracks.

no, only my aotc soudntrack has it. I dunno, I got mine on release date, maybe later versions got stripped of the protection?

It's pretty lame actually. It's not that Williams would ever lose money from this, his music is by far not popular enough.
