[MF] Celebration III Spectacular.mpg

Postby RustyMuffler » April 25th 2005 1:32 pm

I haven't slept in three days. Just pulled this off my camera and yanked the file size down a bit. Too tired to clean it up or any of that. I am going to bed now. If this isn't OK or if it has already been posted and I don't know, please just yank it. (Play it with WMP... seemed a bit jerky with other players.)

OK... I will stay awake for a liitle while longer. Making a few more yousendit's. I don't see how the links could be dead as I just made them. (Well, to be honest, I got them started, laid back in my chair, fell asleep... then woke up and posted them.)

Does yousendit go by the number of downloads or by the amount of bandwidth sucked? The file is 90mb.

Yes, it's real. It's kinda dark, and obviously there are people's heads in the way, but it is indeed real. It's about 90 megs, but I do have a mirror uploading right now.

Oh my God! It's fantastic! It's the footage that Rick/George brought with them. It's 7 minutes long. I'm uploading a YSI link as I type. There is no dialogue, and music plays in the background that isn't from the ROTS soundtrack. In fact, it's music I've never heard of before.

YSI link will be up shortly.

Yeah, it did turn out darker in the conversion. Hmmm... Fuck, I am tired. Somewhat new to vid capture and all. It looked nice in the original avi, but that was over a gig.

I really can't believe that no one else has posted this. I wasn't even planning on uploading mine because I figured someone else would have gotten a better version.

The music is something they found in the Lucasfilm archives and used it specially for the clip. Unfortunately, it won't be in the film, at least according to the guy who was presenting it yesterday (Rick wasn't there when I saw it).

There are two scenes where Palpatine actually looks FRIGHTENED... once when Yoda deflects his lightning and it pushes him off of a Senate pod, and when he arrives on Mustafar and looks down at the remains of Anakin (which are not shown).

Another awesome scene is Yoda on Kashyyyk... Order 66 is just given, and there are two clonetroopers behind him (he has his back to them). He is standing very still, and then jumps around and lops both their heads off within a fraction of a second.

It's hard to see on this video, but trust me, it's worth watching.

Seeing that on the big screen at C3 was one of the best moments of my life.

Uh... well, when I saw the footage that Rick showed us, I definitely, immediately recognized the second half of it from the Van Helsing score. No doubt about it.

I really held my breath during that footage, it was just amazing. Though a bit of the image is a bit lost 'cause of audience' heads the quality is pretty decent, you recognize everything. It's is so cool when Sidious fires lightning at Yoda who blocks it and Palpatine is finally thrown backwards, nealry falling from the pod - and the audience is cheering.
I am gladly uploading a yousendit link, even though it may take a while.

I've only seen Van Helsing once. But I'm sure I'll recognize the music now when I watch it again. Just like everytime I hear Back in Black on the radio, my hair stands on end and I see Hayden and Ewan hardcore practice fighting in their sweats. God that sounds gay, but you know what I mean.

I'll have to take your word for it then... I haven't seen Van Helsing since it came out, and I don't remember the music very well.

If the torrent is slow, that's because as of right now, 50 people are all trying to download it from me... once some people start getting more of it, hopefully it'll go faster. :)

Just reminder for the lurkers.

Seed the file after you're done downloading!

No need to post here and thank anybody, but you can do your part by keeping a seed going.

Code: Select all
Status:     1 seeders , 77 leechers , completed 0 times

ATTENTION LEECHERS: You are only making it worse by all trying to download at once. I'm the only seed right now, and the more connections to me, the slower it goes for everyone.

And yes... it'd be much appreciated if people leave their torrent program open once they have the whole thing.

I'll try to get some decent screenshots before long.

Leeches

Postby piscesfury » April 25th 2005 2:27 pm

Jango I'm downloading it now and I'll leave my torrent program open. I'll also post a ysi after it finishes. I'm getting crappy download times as far as 30 minutes out. However, I'll seed as soon as I can.

JangoFett2296, if it reaches 100 leeches, just kill it. It's not fair if people are going to be assholes.

Is there anyway I can post a YSI link here without PMs for members and not leechers?

Pm's are probably your best bet if you don't want leechers to get the files, sometimes it works better also if the link is not directly clickable (has to be highlighted, copied and pasted into the address bar)
