Aayla Secura Talks Star Wars TV Series

Justin met Amy Allen, who plays Aayla Secura, at Celebration III over the weekend:

I met Amy on Saturday and got her autograph and the usual conversation. I asked her about her status in ROTS. She said that she "does not die" and that she is "hoping that George will call her, in regards to the television series" and that they have briefly discussed a role for her. Whether that is a starring role, or a supporting role, Aayla Secura is mostly confirmed to be a character in the new series.

Although it leads you to the conclusion she dies in series

Awesome aye? Seems Aayla Secura survives ROTS and likely have a role in the series. If this is True... Its AWESOME :heavymetal:

mostly confirmed

By :gb2tfn:. I would be wary about this sort of thing. Wonder if she would have bionic implants in her torso or spine, since it´s gonna get the blaster-treatment in ROTS... :o

Paul "Ghent" Ens - former TFN staffer, current LucasOnline/Starwars.com Chief, and AntiPiracy@LFL.com emailer - just posted this:

Aayla's fate is definitive.

The accuracy of alleged random comments at conventions is not.

...pls don't put her in a tv series George!

For me, it's more like don't make a tv series George!

While I have the hots for his blue Jedi chick, I really hope Lucas scraps the whole tv series idea. This isn't Star Trek, for Christ's sake.

Is Stargate:SG-1 Star Trek?
Is Neo-Battlestar Galactica Star Trek?
Was Firefly Star Trek?

They all did good on TV and none of them were Star Trek.

Just because it´s on TV, doesn´t make it Star Trek or prone to Star Trekisms. (Lucas said he wanted something quite different from this series.)

Yeah, but all those shows suck.

TV is nowhere near the quality of a good feature film.

We've had this discussion several times before actually.

BSG is ok. Decent sets and an interesting oppressive mood, but it is sooooo slow in developing.

Besides, Horny Cylon Bitches = stupid.

Not only do clone troopers shoot her to knock her down, 3 of them gang up and blast her to oblivion while she's on the ground...

And a few of the more unruly Clone Troopers execute "Order 69" with her...

^ I was trying to dig that pic up but couldn't find it. Although I'm kinda skeptical about a SW show it is Star Wars and it possesses utlimate coolness. I don't see how everyone is screwing up when it comes to developin' something Star Wars, i.e. Star Wars games (although there have been several good ones lately, and I think the new one is gonna kick ass).

If they get some good writers then I think the show will kick ass. I also vote for the Quilan\Aayla thing. I'd like to know how they're gonna do Aayla without having her in a damn cyborg-spacesuit get up, can't really have Aayla if she ain't sexy.

My 2 cents, for whatever they're worth, which is probably half a penny ;) .

"There she is! Set for stun!"

Having read too much adult fan fiction, the only logical explanation would be that the clones fired stun beams, planning to take advantage of Aayla and only killing her afterwards. Except that Aayla woke up too early. Of course, this is against the "clones-obey-without-feelings-without-questioning" thing, but then again, clone officers and commandos were picked from those who had shown personal initiative. And they would have been following their orders... from a certain point of view.

She dies in the movie....it's pretty obvious....I can't see how they'd bring her back from being shot repeatedly in the back....

omg i know who it is

Postby Icesler » May 15th 2005 1:58 pm

i am pretty damn sure that the character the show will be focused on is the young boba fett! think about it. it works perfectly! boba fett as a teenager growing up and what not, recieving different types of training, growing into his armor, taking on his first bounty, that show would be amazing!

Yeah, if she does come back in the tv series it'll be incredibly lame

"uh gosh, y'know, all those blasters were set on stun for some reason yaa"

I'm glad to see that Vos wasn't explicitly killed a tv show with him would be pretty cool.

She's definitely dead. Check out the "Reversal of Fortune" comic strip on the OS. Unfortunately you have to be a Hyperspace member. If you are a member and you haven't been reading, check out strip 164.
